Furnished Rental Turnover Checklist

  • Thoroughly clean and dust all surfaces, including ceiling fans and accessible light fixtures.

  • Sanitize light switches, remote controls, doorknobs, handles, and other high-touch areas.

  • Remove cobwebs from corners and ceilings.

  • Launder and replace throw blankets, towels, and bedding, and make the beds.

  • Vacuum upholstery and carpets.

  • Empty all trash bins throughout the home.

 

Bathrooms:

  • Deep clean, scrub, and sanitize sinks and showers, removing soap scum.

  • Disinfect toilets thoroughly, inside and out.
